Declare the grafting in into the root of Israel, that the Jews and the gentiles become one New Man within Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus the Anointed One). Declare that all nations are reconciled to G-d through the branch of Jesse i.e. Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus the Anointed One). |
Inspiration. The scriptures provide an image of non-Jewish believers being like wild branches being grafted onto an olive tree. That means the wild branches rely on the tree's roots and trunk so they can grow better. the scriptures call this mix of natural and wild branches 'one new man'.
The Hebrew scriptures given to the Jews contain all the promises, prophecies and revelation that a believers needs to understand what Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus Christ) had come to complete. That means for non-Jewish believers that they need to recognise and accept the foundation that those Hebrew scriptures laid which enables the non-Jewish believer to understand and appreciate that the works of Yeshua HaMashiach are a fulfilment of thing gone before and to appropriate the promises given to the Jews as their own.
The image of 'one new man' describes how on a foundation of Hebrew revelation, prophecy and completion, a believer can start growing if he is grafted into that foundation.
The design represents this by depicting the roots and the trunk of the olive tree enveloped in the flag of Israel, symbolising the Hebrew foundation. Out of such foundation both, Jewish and non-Jewish (gentile) branches grow as well as dry branches which will be cut off.
Romans 11:17-19
However, some of the branches have been pruned away. And you, who were once nothing more than a wild olive branch in the desert, God has grafted in—inserting you among the remaining branches as a joint partner to share in the wonderful richness of the cultivated olive stem. So don’t be so arrogant as to believe that you are superior to the natural branches. There’s no reason to boast, for the new branches don’t support the root, but you owe your life to the root that supports you!
Isaiah 11:1-2
But a branch will emerge from the trunk of Yishai (Jesse), a shoot will grow from his roots. The Spirit of HaShem (Yaweh) will rest on him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and power, the Spirit of knowledge and fearing HaShem (Yaweh).
